A single question – "On a scale of zero to ten, how likely would you be to recommend Piranha to a colleague or friend?" was asked of ironworker users who purchased machines in the last two years. A score of nine or ten indicated that the customer is a "promoter" – a loyal customer who has had a great experience with his/her machine. A score of seven or eight is considered a neutral score – the customer is satisfied, but not necessarily thrilled. A six or below is a failing mark.

Results are scored as follows: A "1" is given for each score of nine or ten; a "0" for each score of seven or eight and a "-1" for a failing mark. The average of these marks provides a Net Promoter Score ranging between -100% (all failing) to +100% (all nines and tens).

Piranha consistently scores in the +80% range! We feel that this is an exceptionally high percentage indicating great brand loyalty.

So how do we compare to others in our industry? In a recent study, we included recent buyers (within the last 2 years) of Scotchman, Geka, and Edwards in our calling. Here are the results:
